Primed Poplar Mull Post

Mull post used construct entry door systems with sidelite(s) where a continuous sill is desired. Solid poplar construction.

Dimensions:

• Select 80 3/8″ (for 79″ tall door slab) or 96 3/8″ (for 95″ tall door slab)
• 4 9/16″ deep (can be used together with 4 9/16″ or 6 9/16″ jambs — 2×4 or 2×6 construction)
• 2 7/16″ thick

Prep Details:

• Standard Hinge Prep:
  • Mull posts routed for standard 4″ x 4″ 5/8″ round radius residential hinges
  • 81.75″ Jamb / 79″ door with 3 hinges: 6.5″ from top of door to top of first hinge, 37.5″ to top of second hinge, 68.5″ to top of bottom hinge
  • 97.75″ Jamb / 95″ door with 4 hinges: 6.5″ from top of door to top of first hinge, 32.5″ to top of second hinge, 58.5″ to top of 3rd hinge, 84.5″ to top of bottom hinge
• Standard Lock Prep:
  • Double Bore (hole) entry lock (e.g., deadbolt bore on top with a latch bore 5.5″ below, measured from the center of the top bore to the center of the bottom bore)
  • 81.75″ Jamb / 79″ door: 40.375″ from top of door to center of top bore and 45.875″ top of door to center of the bottom bore
  • 97.75″ Jamb / 95″ tall door: 50.875″ from top of door to center of top bore and 56.375″ top of door to center of the bottom bore
• If your project requires a non-standard prep please purchase “Blank” or unprepped and route out at job site to match required specs
